The CO₂ Heart Laser 2 provides a real option for patients with coronary artery disease who have not been able to sustain a pain-free quality of life through other treatment modalities. Clinical studies have shown the Heart Laser is safe and effective in decreasing angina by two or more classes (activity scale measured in classes from one to four, one being the lowest amount of angina) in 72% of patients. More than 50% of patients studied reported complete angina relief with normal daily activities.
